Is it Time to Move On?

I spent 4 and a half years of my IT career with Fujitsu-Weserv, and now, I'm not sure if I'll be happy or not, I had just accepted an offer with another IT company, RCG IT.

Di ko alam kung masaya, or malungkot... mahirap iwanan ang Weserv... I'll miss my officemates who became my close friends.

-------
June 3, 2008 - I received a call from RCG, informing me that they got my resume at JobsDB. I was still at the hospital then, so I told them my situation. It seems that they are really interested to interview me so instead of attending the initial interview in their office, I requested to have a phone interview..

Luckily, my request was granted, I guess that was June 5 or 6, I received a call and had an interview...

a week later I received another call from them, informing me that I need to attend the next interview (technical).

Since I was sick back then, I asked them to schedule me last June 20, unfortunately, I wasn't able to come...

So it was rescheduled again, and again, I guess I cancelled the schedule 2-3 times :(

July 7 was the tentative schedule, and fortunately, since I am already ok, I was able to attend my technical interview.

It was the client who had interviewed me. The client is based in the US so I was interviewed over the phone.

The technical interview was really easy, kung baga s tagalog e sisiw lang hahaha... well.. di ko nman nasagot lahat since some of the questions involved Oracle forms and reports, which I worked on very long time ago :)

The interview lasts for about 30 - 45 minutes if I am not mistaken. It was purely technical as in :)

Well, as I sensed it, the interview went well...

July 9, 2008 - I received a call from RCG that I already passed the interview and I am ready for boarding...( if i remember the term right? :D )

So tonight, I went to their office to sign the employment agreement...yes I already signed and I will officially start working with them next month.

Hay...
