At last! I reached my Adsense Quota

Just last night, I reach my adsense quota and I am eligible to receive my first payment as of today!! yes!! and I am proud to say that 98% of my earnings from adsense I got just this December!!

thanks to Marhgil Macuha since the keyword he suggested gave my blogs a total of 7000 visits for December 31 alone!! of course, more traffic correlates to more earnings!!!!!

I'm so happy and I am still waiting for my Google PIN Mailer to be able to receive my payments! Well I am optimistic that 2008 will give me more traffic and more earnings!!!

Bye bye 2007, Hello 2008

2007 is really memorable for me.. as I had learned a lot of things from technical to simple things. But one of the things that 2007 gave me is the chance to start something that I want to achieve in the future...

I had earned some money doing blogging and hopefully I can achieve my target earnings, that is to achieve at least $1000 by the end of this year. Sounds impossible but as what my favorite saying says "God has given us the power to dream, because he has given us the ability to make these dreams come true".
Anything is possible, with God's help, patience, and work strategically, everything can be within our reach :)

I welcome 2008 with a smile, and a hope for a better year for me, for us and for our country.

SEO, Marhgil Macuha and New Year Quotes

I'm still a newbie when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization) and the first SEO contest that I joined was for the Marhgil Macuha keyword.. its really a learning experience for me and as of today, my entry is in the 11th place (first entry on the SERPS second page!) yay!!!


Now I am optimizing my quotesarena blog for the New year quotes phrase, and so far I made it to the 2nd page, 19th place!!

The mini seo contest really taught me a lot of things and I may not win the Marhgil Macuha contest, the lesson that I learned from it makes me a big winner!! hehehe

as of december, I am halfway to my first Google payment!!!! and I am hoping to achieve that next month!!! Lets cross our fingers!!!

Food Trip

I don't know but maybe its those days of the month where I crave for food!!! I bought a can of frui cocktail and a can of Nestle cream!!! Instant fruit salad!!! and now I ate almost half of it waaa.... kahit malapit na ako bumalik sa gym e sana konti lang ang tatagtagin kong taba hahaha... pano ako magiging vina morales nito!!! haha pangarap!!!!!!!!!!

Ang cute talaga ng ngiti nung crush ko!!! wla lang !!!! hahaha

A Day of Mall Hopping

Its been quite sometime since I went to the mall without being in a hurry.. I really love malling ever since but since I am busy with work and blogging... I really don't have enough time to go to the mall and do the 'malling' that I used to do..

Today is my lucky day, I had the chance to do mall hopping lol!

I went to Robinson's Place manila and made an advance payment for my Fitness First gym membership.. yes!! I'll be back to the gym this January!!!! , I bought a few pairs of socks and looked for a gym bag.. went to several sports store but can't find the one that I am looking for...

I plan to buy a portable hard disk but changed my mind.. I then went to SM San Lazaro to check if I can find a gym bag that I want.

Luckily, as I went to Adidas station, I saw the bag that I like, bought it for PHP1200.00.

Bought some beauty products and got a titanium hair straightener for PHP 2399.95 and headed home..

I Feel tired but happy ! I finally had a chance to do the things I used to do before I take blogging seriously...

and since I freeze my fitness first account due to blogging (really!!) hopefully I can manage to go to the gym and do blogging at the same time !!!!!

Health and Blogging

I have been blogging seriously for almost 3 months now and I can say that in that short duration, I had gained almost 10lbs waaaa...

Since Blogging eats up most of my time, I chosen to temporarily freeze my account at fitness first.. well im planning to get back to the gym next month.. and hopefully I'll lose what I had gained.

its really relaxing (mentally) pero ang sakit ng likod ko pagkatapos lol!

What does it take to be a good Project Manager

wish ko lang di sya blogger hahaha … I'm talking about my PM...
well been with the IT industry for quite sometime now...had worked with different project managers but no one compares with my current PM..

I don't want to talk about her personality since that doesn't concern me since my relationship with her is purely 'trabaho lang'

She seldom attends meetings...can you imagine that? then mabibigla na lang sya about the status of the project...

She's just concern about your status.. "tapos na ba?" that's what I always hear from her.
She schedule's a task that can be done in 3 days for just 1hr, naf said!!!!!

Well wala na nga syang ibang matinong gagawin but to schedule the task assigned to her member.. but goodness its common sense.. how can you create a program in 1 hr... or even test a program in less than 1 hr without you knowing the flow of the system?
